Halifax is Hitwise UK double award winner
Halifax has achieved double success in the
recent Hitwise Online Performance Awards - after being awarded two top ten
ranking awards.
The annual
Hitwise UK Online Performance Awards recognise excellence in online performance
through public 
popularity, covering more than 50 key industries online.
Halifax's online services site (www.halifax-online.co.uk) was
awarded a top ten position in the Business and Finance - Banks and Financial
Institutions category for 2008, based on market share of UK visits.
In addition, the
bank's website for products and customer services www.halifax.co.uk also featured in the top
ten in the rankings, making Halifax one of the only two banking brands to
feature twice in the top 10.
Results of the
Hitwise UK Online Performance Awards are based on the Internet usage of more
than 8 million UK Internet users with winners receiving the greatest market
share of UK
visits throughout 2008 in their online industry.
